Our story

Safe, economic, & eco-friendly
automated solar panel cleaning.

Over 10 years ago, we set out to solve one of the biggest problems facing solar – panel soiling. We wanted to find a way to keep panels clean, maximize energy production, protect panel warranties, and increase revenue for system owners.

We knew there had to be a way to achieve our goals that didn’t entail deploying thousands of bristle-wielding workers onto high voltage rooftops across the world. When we realized there wasn’t, we created one. Enter, RST NightWash™.

RST NightWash™ is a safe, cost-effective, and eco-friendly automated solar panel cleaning solution.

About RST CleanTech

Company

RST CleanTech was established in 2013 and quickly became a global leader in automated solar panel cleaning. Since our inception, we have installed 4,000+ projects worldwide ranging in size from residential arrays to large-scale utility projects. We hold two patents that allow our systems to deliver water effectively and efficiently with no moving parts. Our technology has been closely inspected by a variety of panel manufacturers who have determined that RST’s NightWash system is not only effective but also meets their panels’ maintenance requirements and specifications.
